Aaron Likens – 2012
Rating: ♣♣♣ (3) (liked it)
This book shows us Aaron’s world and in the process offers his observations, deep thoughts, and sometimes painful images of what it is like to live with Asperger’s syndrome.
What I thought:
I thought it was a very truthful look into this individuals life and how he deals with it. I enjoyed relating to some of his life. I am sad for him when he is sad and cheer him on when he is happy. I found it interesting following parts of his life and his passion.
A favorite passage in the book:
“What is the most fearsome word in the English Language? There is nothing worse than tomorrow. Tomorrow is uncontrollable. What could happen?” – Aaron Likens
It is one of his fears and it is described so well in the book.
