⇒The Legend of Tarzan    rating: 3 1/2 out of 5        rotten tomatoes score: 5/10 (36%)

Genre: Action/Adventure pg-13 2016

description: It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.

what I thought: If you are a Tarzan fan then it is hard to see a movie where all the elements are satisfied. I thought this version will depend on what you love about the story itself. I really enjoyed the film. I loved the segments that showed his relationship with the animals and who does not love the intense way he loves Jane. I thought this was an interesting version of the relationships and struggles of the heart.

favorite clip: When he tells the kids why his hands are different and when he is doing mating calls to his wife (sexy).

personal notes: It was nice to see the solidness between Tarzan and Jane and the respect of they had of the animals and their natures.
